Overview
While we recommend that any data transfer into Elina is done by your team manually (giving them the best practise possible), we understand that it can be challenging to find the resources to carry out these tasks.
We, therefore, offer the option for you to supply us with data to import into Elina as you migrate from your previous system to Elina, or indeed from a manual way of working (using Excel for example).
Click here to download the template that needs to be used.
Please note that it may take up to two weeks to import the data for you (from receipt of the completed excel document) and that observing the following tips will help to avoid any delays or misunderstandings:
- Before you populate the document ask yourself whether an import is really necessary. With a little practise you will be able to enter a reservation in 1-2 minutes depending on the amount of information e.g. guest addresses to be transferred. If you have 300 reservations that need to be migrated into Elina this would represent 5-10 hours of data entry work and great practise for the team. Still convinced the data import is the way forward? No problem, please observe the following...
- Hover over column headers with red corners to see useful comments. These will explain whether the field is optional and/or requires the data to be entered in a particular format.
- Observe the addtional tabs in the sheet at the bottom of the page.
- Contact the Elina Concierge team if you are in any doubt about the required data and its format before you start transferring it into the document.
